International Excellence Scholarship for students. An exclusive opportunity for personal growth
With the rapid growth of international scholarship programs, some of the potential applicants face an inevitable dilemma: what to choose - studying at their home university, making their academic activity smoother, uninterrupted, and sometimes more efficient by staying in the very same environment for the whole period of their education, or gaining experience, knowledge, a network, and a CV by participating in exchange programs. The partners of the Copernicus Berlin community are HU Berlin, with a history of over 200 years and academic experience that has influenced universities worldwide; FU Berlin, a university with a strong ideological identity; HWR Berlin, a professionally oriented place that produces highest-grade specialists in the fields of law, business and economics, and other fields; and Potsdam University, which gives the student an opportunity to study outside Berlin’s boundaries and to have a better understanding of what Germany outside Berlin looks like.
It’s important to mention that IES does not have any specific professional field; it has a lot of fields, giving a broad circle of students an opportunity to apply to the program. During IES, students visit multiple cultural events and even travel outside Berlin sometimes, and that while being offered a full scholarship. IES is not a one-time event; after the program itself, the participant remains a member of the Copernicus Berlin community, having a lot of doors to international education opened in front of him.
